As an organization with a shared commitment to fostering positive change within our community, we help eliminate Gun Violence through the "Silence the Violence" initiative. At Get Connected, we firmly believe in the transformative power of collective effort, which holds the potential to significantly impact the lives of our community and cultivate a safer environment for all.

The "Silence the Violence" initiative transcends a simple campaign; it embodies a dynamic movement fueled by our unwavering dedication to cultivate Unity in the Community as we respond to the pressing issues of Gun violence. In this regard, as an organization we feel as though our community is being plagued by GUN VIOLENCE and our “Silence the Violence” campaign and efforts are geared towards Silencing the gun shots. The core focus of this initiative is responding to areas were gun violence in the community is more ramped and our efforts include being positioned and stationed in those areas where the most guns shots are taking place. Our intentions are to respond to and connect with the neighborhoods and victims of said gun violence. We are fellowshipping through providing counsel, guidance, food, and continual support to individuals and families who have been impacted and traumatized by the perpetual shootings!

Why? Silencing The Violence Matters? Because we are tired of hearing Gun Shots ring out in our community!

The repercussions of violence resonate universally, impacting us directly or indirectly. Only by coming together in unity can we make a resounding statement against violence and advocate for a future characterized by harmony and tranquility.
